QA Engineer (Remote, San Francisco) at Domino Data Lab

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Domino you will be an integral part of Domino’s growing engineering organization and will be driving some of the strategic initiatives to make Domino as prevalent in the world of Data Science as Github for software developers, Marketo for marketing professionals, and Anaplan for finance professionals
Responsibilities
  • Working in close collaboration with our Product Management, Customer Success, Support and Engineering teams to ensure products meet requirements and ensure timely release of new features
  • Find & manage the resolution of bugs/defects, proactively identify risks to management. Design, implement/execute, debug, regression test, validate and verify fixes.
  • Create and maintain QA documentation including test cases, test scenarios, scripts, plans, and expected results based on requirements
  • Document issues and recommend improvements on product features and testing infrastructure
  • Collaborate with software developers to define and deploy best practices in software quality and reliability
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software quality assurance engineering experience
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
  • Experience with one scripting language
  • Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
  • Experience developing test strategies, test plans and test cases
  • Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
Bonus Points
  • BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, engineering or other technical field
  • Experience with Selenium or other automation framework
  • Experience with usability best practices; able to influence and improve user experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
